The information contained on this website is provided ‘as-is’, without any warranty of any case and only for informational purposes. Jolin.tech or his associates will be not responsible for the use made with them, or the possible damage either physical or psychological caused directly or derivative by the use of them.
Most of the projects explained here work with non-lethal voltages (for the average human), but the well knowledge of the security normative and procedures is assumed for the use of any of them. In the same way the necessary knowledge and the possession of the necessary tools is assumed to the buyer in order to make functional any product. Any doubt about this should be asked before shopping (i.e.: by email), being unacceptable the return of the kit or part.
Our Right to Modify These Terms of Service
We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service at any time. You should check this page regularly. The changes will appear on Jolin.tech and will be effective when we post the changes. Your continued use of Jolin.tech means you agree to and accept the changes.
Shipping
Currently we ship all orders within five working days through DHL express or FedEx.
We ship worldwide so our shipping rates are carefully calculated depending on the weight and size of your order, and varies depending on where you live. All of our packages are shipped from Italy.
We offer tracking to all of our shipments.
Our shipping estimates do not include the time used for Customs procedures on the country of destination. That means that sometimes it may take longer (or shorter) depending on where you live. Some orders may experience customs delays if your country is not part of EU because your order may be subject to import duties, custom tariffs or VAT charges.
For orders shipped to countries outside the European Union we are not responsible of the cost of any specific taxes payable in the destination country. These are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping and are incurred at the time of delivery. Customers are responsible of all international customs and duty fees.
The amount of these taxes or duties will vary depending on the import/export laws of each country, and it is your responsibility to be informed of them and of all formalities required to deliver the order. You should inquire with your local customs agency for more information and assistance in this area.
For our international customers protection we may need to verify additional details regarding billing and shipping information, and may need to place conditions on the method of payment used. Orders may be rejected if we cannot verify information to our satisfaction. If we require additional information, we will be in contact with you at the email address you provide.
Warranty
All our products are covered by the standard 2-year EU warranty on purchased goods which begins when you receive your goods.
This warranty covers the failure or malfunction of the device within this period which is due to our manufacturing processes or the components used. The warranty covers return shipping to the customer (worldwide) but not the shipping to have the device returned to Jolin.tech. The warranty is void if the device has failed due to the customers negligence including (but not limited to) connecting the device to an inappropriate power supply, damage due to mishandling, damage due to extreme conditions (including but not limited to temperature, humidity/moisture or dust).
Returns
Jolin.tech offers you the possibility to change and/or return items purchased online. Upon receipt of your order, you have 14 days to change and/or return any products.
The products and their packaging must be in perfect condition.
If you have not contacted us before returning the goods and have not waited to receive the authorization number for the return (info@jolin.tech), Jolin.tech reserves the right to accept the return.
Jolin.tech reserves the right to refuse returns which have been communicated or sent after the deadline, or garments that are not in the same condition in which they were received.
Refunds
Once the return is approved (the items have to be in perfect condition) you will receive a confirmation email telling you that the amount will be credited to your account (which you must provide to us via email) in the coming days. Remember that the payment to the credit card always depends on your bank.
If you sent the payment with a credit card / apple pay, a fee of the 1,4% (+1,5% for extra EU orders) of the total purchase will be deducted from the refund since those amounts are due to Stripe.com to handle the transaction in the first stance. More details can be found at stripe.com
If you sent the payment using the PayPal.com platform, a fee of the 3,4% (+1,99% for international orders) of the total purchase will be deducted from the refund since those amounts are due to PayPal.com to handle the transaction in the first stance. More details can be found at PayPal.com
If it is a return, the cost of shipping back will be charged to the customer.
Replacements
If the product supplied is incorrect or defective, it will be replaced by another item of the same model or the same item repaired. The delivery time depends on the availability of the new product or its repair. You will be informed immediately of the status of the claim and you can decide whether to ask for a refund or to wait for the new product.
If you have received an incorrect or defective item, Jolin.tech will bear the shipping costs of the defective garment.
Kits
The necessary knowledge and the possession of the necessary tools is assumed to the buyer in order to build and make functional any kit or parts. Any doubt about this should be asked before shopping (i.e.: by email), otherwise return of the kit or part will be unacceptable.
All kits are made by hand. Although we put the best from us on it, it might contain errors or missing parts. Jolin.tech will send free of cost any missing part if necessary.

If you visit our home page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
